Why I Deserve to Win
"If your action inspire others to dream more, learn more, and become more, you are a leader" --John Quincy Adams- the sixth President of the United States
This sentence was always be my guide to learn and achieve something, because I know, while I am trying to achieve something good for myself its gonna inspire someone to trying their best to themselves.
Studying abroad is one of my biggest dream, staying for summer program in Montreal, Canada is going to be one of my best achievement. These put me one step closer to my dream and I believe Its gonna inspire someone to do more and more, That's why I'm applying for it!
Besides, joining this program will broaden my both horizon and competency as an individual, bring me to meet extraordinary students from all over the world and make more friends. this can be a good chance for me to learn different cultures, perspectives, ways of life, and values from them.
I was born in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, a little province located southeast Indonesia, on my entire life I've been moved to the many different places to stay, there I have learnt about a lot of culture and local wisdom that give me a better understanding on whole Indonesian socio-culture, way of life, and values. This can be a help to promote my country as one of my responsibility, and give a good cross cultural learning to another student at Montreal, Canada.
On the other side, I have some experience at organizational works, I've been a leader at a few organization, my recent years activity was become secretary general of
LPKTA UGM (science based organization and study club), that needs to frequently meet people, associate and socialize with others. I believe these experiences can be a great help to learn new things in Montreal, understand deeper on new issues, and create good social network with a new friends.
